The Jaxx Conservatory

The Jaxx Conservatory & Jr. Conservatory is a performing arts program for students who are serious about taking their craft to the next level. The Jaxx Conservatory attracts some of the most talented high school and college students in Los Angeles. Our Conservatory is a pre-professional program which often casts adults and paid guest artists in roles where appropriate. Working with professional adults enhances the arts education experience and better prepares our students for rewarding and successful careers in the arts.

We are highly focused on story-telling through all three musical theatre arts: acting, song and dance. Acting being the base for everything we do. Dance and choreography is often overlooked in many musical theatre programs. Jaxx keeps dance front and center as the “other” integral way to move the plot along, communicate, have fun, exercise and tell a story through movement and choreography choreography which further compliments the music and story.
